SharkBite® Push-Fit Fittings

A Connection System For Copper, CTS CPVC and PEX Pipe

The Cash Acme SharkBite® fittings line presents a revolutionary solution to connecting water distribution pipe. Our SharkBite® Push-Fit Fittings are the fastest, easiest way to join copper, CTS CPVC and PEX pipe in any combination. With no soldering, clamps, unions or glue. The line includes more than 130 different fittings in a variety of sizes. Certified to 200 psi and 200°F (93°C).

Slip Fittings

For use with copper only. Slip fittings simplify repairs and connections by doing the job of two fittings and extra pipe. Only one end of the fitting's slip section has a stop, allowing the other end to slide further onto the end of a pipe. A small section of pipe is removed to install a slip fitting. Then push the long end of the fitting's slip section onto the pipe. Use a disconnect tool to press against the release collar on the long end of the fitting and at the same time, push the slip fitting onto the other pipe end to a depth of one inch.

The SharkBite® Push-Fit Fittings have been design certified and listed to ASSE 1061/NSF 61. The SharkBite® Push-Fit Fittings are listed by IAPMO and are certified for potable and hydronic heating water distribution (note: Glycol mixture for hydronics is not to exceed 50% concentration). The SharkBite® Push-Fit Fittings have been certified for underground applications and as a manufactured joint without access panels and they meet UPC, IPC and Canadian Plumbing Code requirements.
